Every November, the tour groups from Germany-based Studiosus Travel Company visit Phaung Daw Oo School. The principal welcomed them and introduced the school structure and educational system, available programs and potential future plans at PDO to the visitors.
Most tour groups enjoy exploring the school campus and school activities, as well as getting a glimpse into the students’ lives and speaking to Myanmar children of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. When the tour groups visit, PDO administrative staff members, led by Daw Thandar Win Shwe, Manager of Myanmar Partner organization, take them on school tours. As a part of the tour, many tourists choose to offer donations to PDO as well.
