The Mainstream Department uses the standard government curriculum for students from kindergarten to Grade 10. For the 2019-2020 school year, the Mainstream program currently has 255 students: 50 kindergarten students, 397 primary school students, 1163 middle school students, and 951 high school students; as well as 89 teachers.
The curriculum teaches 11 subjects in Burmese. In the 2019-2020 school year, we introduced new addition of English classes to the Mainstream program with both Fast-Track and Mainstream teachers. This only applies to primary school level.
Daw Than Than Win
Teacher Daw Than Than Win is the head of the Mainstream Program. She has taught Physics at PDO since 1995.
