The IT Department has two main goals: providing general technology support for the PDO community, as well as educating students and staff members in essential computer skills. Students at PDO can take computer classes year-round and during school breaks. The courses cover basic Microsoft Office skills and Adobe Creative Suite skills.
There are currently 44 students taking classes and 8 teachers for the 2019-2020 school year. The class size is no more than 12 students to guarantee a hands-on experience for all students.
Interested students can take a 250-hour short course that covers all lessons available at the IT Department. This short course will be registered under Phaung Daw Oo International University as a Diploma-granting short course.
