Ven Nayaka Received the Outstanding Educator Award

On September 7, 2019, Ven Nayaka received the Outstanding Educator Award from International Buddhist College (IBC), Hat Yai, Thailand. The award is given yearly to an outstanding educator that has created positive and innovative changes in education.

U Nayaka, the founder of PDO Education institution and PIU (Phaung Daw Oo international University), gave tree tuition to primary to high school level students eagerly with an aim to improve the education practiced in Myanmar. He believes that it is only an education that can enable the society happy, healthy and wealthy. His strong desire to change the education system of Myanmar rooted since childhood, so he took great pains in doing the improvement of education till he achieved his goal set in life with tolerable patience and great industry. In this way his great interest and work made him popular in all classes both local and overseas.

As this is IBC’s 12th convocation and 15th anniversary, IBC alumni from Thailand and overseas, such as Bangladesh, Malaysia and the United States returned to IBC campus. The extended IBC family also celebrated Ven Nayaka’s birthday which is same to that of IBC’s. Awarding this kind of ‘outstanding Educator Award to Ven: U Nayaka really means to change and develop the education of Myanmar that will improve the lives of the people. So we wish he could do the best more and more in his future time for all us to have such a kind of educated atmosphere in every parts of the country.
